If the cost of an instrument, music camp or college is in the way, we’re here to help so you can start, stay and grow in music.
Eligibility
Band of Angels focuses on students facing financial barriers who are participating in (or planning to join) a school band or orchestra program. School music directors and administrators, students, parents, guardians and the community can submit an application for an instrument or need.
Good to know: Students can keep instruments provided through Band of Angels for as long as they’d like. If they ever stop playing, we ask that the instrument be returned so another student can use it. We expect normal care and upkeep, and we can help if repair costs are a hardship.
Instruments
Get matched with a band or orchestra instrument, free of cost. We work with school administrators and music directors to confirm need and fit. If you prefer paper, there’s a printable application available, too. If you run into issues, contact us or your music director.
Music Camp Scholarships
Get tuition help to pay for a summer music camp of your choice, from local band or orchestra to other approved programs. We partner with school staff to confirm eligibility.
Beyond the Match
Support students in pursuing meaningful musical growth beyond the classroom through opportunities such as youth symphony participation, school-sponsored travel, and unique ensemble experiences.
